OpenShift Origin, the Red Hat-sponsored next generation Platform-as-a-Service, is now bundled in with Fedora. So it's time to take a closer look at the benefits of PaaS and the technical requirements for deploying one. This presentation will give you an overview of OpenShift's architecture, walk you thru deploying your applications to a PaaS & discuss how the reap the benefits of cloud computing using Open Source tools. OpenShift Origin project is licensed under the Apache License 2.0, a permissive and widely-used open source license, which was selected so that the code would be available for use by the broadest range of individuals and organizations. In this session, I'll also discuss RedHat's efforts and the Origin cross-community initiatives with OpenStack, Fedora, & OpenShift Origin to create a truly Open Cloud.
